Very clean room which was nicely laid out with plenty of seating, microwave,kettle, good sized tv, and bed. I will stay again when working in the area.

A spacious clean room, big comfy bed with great additional items that added comfort like a microwave, fridge, tea and coffee,t.v.It was within walking distance to the town centre.The only thing I would have like to chhanfe would be to be able to switch the air con machine off. It was noisy and a bit cold at night. It was too high to reach the off switch.Otherwise a pleasant stay and I would stay again if in the area.

Lovely place and very moderate

We had a flight rescheduled and KLM had no staff to assist, so we had no option but to get a hotel, Oakshaw came in as one of the cheaper options, so we went for it. Sky TV, WIFI and hot water. What more could we need, oh and a comfy bed.

Great place, within walking distance of pool club.Got second night very easy due to competition I was running was late and I could not get home. Sorry my arrival time was after 1am but competition went on till that time. I will be in Paisley for more competitions later in the year and will ask to stay and recommend to others staying the two days.

Easy access for hospital shops

The hotel is succinct and petite in outlook. Staff are very helpful and kind. There’s a lot of natural light coming into the rooms and it benefits from a lovely family run stone baked pizza restaurant right across the street. The rooms are small and bathrooms are outside the bedroom however it’s excellent value for money and a lovely country feel!

Single room was spacious and clean and bed was comfortable. My room was at the front of the building so had some traffic noise from the junction outside my window on the first floor. But when the traffic died down in the evening it was quiet enough to get agood sleep.

The host was very accommodating to some requests made.

The 1st floor stunk of weed from other residents which was unpleasant apart from that everything was ok

Handy little place for shorterm stop over, ideal for people on business or work, very close to airport bars restraunts takeaways etc, not a 5star hotel type place but perfect for short stays passing threw paisley or Glasgow Airport,welcoming helpful friendly staff, comfy beds, nice&clean, warm & cosy rooms, it was a budget room that suited my needs perfectly

Great value for money, great host. Perfect for my needs.

Have stayed here before and will again. Central accommodation for a good price. Rooms are large and very functional. Oakshaw is not trying to be something it is not. I have paid more for a lot worse than Oakshaw. Would you have a honeymoon here ? No of course not.

Quiet and comfortable, Loads of shops nearby

Second time staying here and it’s been great as ever the beds are so comfortable and it’s great to just get away for a night to relax very clean and quiet and close to meany shops and places to eat out it’s an idea location

I enjoyed my stay at the Guest House, it is clean, tidy, warm, with fresh towels, it had tea/coffee making facilities and biscuits,and is walking distance to the Bus stops and train station, it really suited my over night stay and if i get a chance i would stay again.

I stayed at the property as my partner was in the Royal Alexandra Hospital having are child and I could not of been happier with the accommodation and facilities provided by the guest house and would highly recommend

Affordable,clean accommodation.Although the outside entrance area looks a bit shabby, the inside is very nicely done. The room and bed are comfortable and has a kettle and tea,coffee, biscuits etc. Although someone is not there when you arrive,they give you a code to the entrance door and your room number when you call the number on the website, as well as on the entrance door. If you don't have a phone,I would suggest you contact prior to arrival for information. If you are coming from Glasgow by public transport, the MCGILL #38 bus(NOT McColls)stops on Walker Street,almost across the street from Oakshaw Guesthouse.

Cheap and cheerful. Clean and safe .

Stayed for a gig we were attending at Belahouston Park. We never saw a member of staff during our visit but this was not an issue. The rooms were clean and tidy with fresh towels on arrival. The shared bathroom was very pleasant but could do with the mastic in the shower being replacing as it was grubby in my bathroom.Well located for public transport and managed to get park up the bank behind the guesthouse without issueGreat value for money and would use again if visiting Glasgow

A very nice place. The host is nice but not always there, the room and bathrooms are clean and confy. However it isn't soundproof but it stays really calm. I recommand it.

Room got high ceiling good street view. Remind me of russian hotel i stay in. I'd go back.

I came few days with my mom. The room was really nice, the bathroom too. Everything was clean, no noise. We really enjoyed staying there and i recommend it for sure !

We needed a place close to the airport. Jet lagged and not used to driving on the left. The place is spotless. The bathrooms are not private but are modern clean and the water is hot. Parking is on the street and free from 6 pm until 8 am approximately 2. 75 pounds for 4 hours. It could be better marked. The biggest sign is on the second story with a small one over the entrance. There isnt a big staff presence. The only employee we encountered was Jamie but he was friendly and helpful. Easy walk to a really nice Italian restaurant called Cardosi's.

Very nice property in a good easy check in and access to the rooms. The Room was a nice size with everything that was needed. Comfortable bed, kettle and television.Will definitely stay again.

This spacious room with a double bed is just minutes from the airport. We had to be up at 4th:30 ty I catch a flight and this location gave us those precious extra minutes of sleep. The room is tidy and though the toilet/shower is in the hall it is very neat and tidy as well.

Room all prepared on arrival. Room very clean. Comfy mattress, spotless sheets and towels. Kettle, tea and biscuits,fridge, tv.Shared bathroom facilities spotless.Fine for my overnight airport stop.

Stayed for 1 night as needed somewhere near airport, on arrival at 8pm I phoned the number given and a very nice and pleasant lady gave me the information I required to book in. The room was very spacious,clean and the bed was just the ticket for an amazing sleep. I awoke refreshed and ready for my trip to the middle East. Thank you

Great location, very clean facilities. Eventhe amenities were thought through well from there being hair dryers, clothes iron, water dispenser and a fan heater in the room in case it got too cold. There was an assortment of tea, biscuits and chocolates in the room on arrival- lovely in its own right but useful if one arrives hungry and tired from travels. Jamie, the owner was incredibly hospitable and accomodating. Highly recommended.

My single room was lovely - light, spacious and tastefully decorated, if a little noisy - but the shared bathroom was unfinished (part of the shower cubicle was missing!)Had to call a number to get a code to get in - good job I'd charged my phone on the train!Overall, a pleasant stay, and very good value for money. Needed a bed to crash in after late arrival at the airport before heading North early the next morning. This was a good value option a short taxi ride from the airport. Clean, basic, single room with a shared bathroom. Served my needs perfectly. Would definitely use again.

Stayed here Saturday night was a wee bit worried given the other review here but ended up with nothing to worry about. The room was very large and airy the bed was comfy with nice clean sheets. The room looked clean to me though I am not a hotel inspector looking for something to moan about. Will be happy to book again if it's just for me but not when I'm with my wife due to shared toilets. Rooms are big enough for built toilets but of course that is an expense the owner might not be ready for just yet. So 4 stars one dropped for shared toilet.
