Oakshaw Guesthouse – Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Oakshaw Guesthouse, Paisley. By booking and/or staying with us, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. These are designed to ensure a professional, safe, and comfortable environment for all guests.

1. Bookings & Payment

Reservations may be made directly or through third-party platforms (e.g., Booking.com, Airbnb, Vrbo).
Full payment is required at the time of booking unless agreed otherwise in writing.
We accept major credit/debit cards and bank transfers for direct bookings.

2. Identification & Age Requirements

A valid form of photo identification (passport, driver’s licence, or national ID) must be provided upon request.
The minimum age for check-in is 21 years, unless accompanied by a responsible adult.

3. Check-In and Check-Out

Check-in: From 3:00 PM
Check-out: By 10:00 AM
Early check-in/late check-out may be available upon request and subject to additional charges.

4. Behaviour, Conduct & Guest Restrictions

To protect the comfort of all our guests and uphold the reputation of Oakshaw Guesthouse:

Strictly no parties, drinking sessions, social gatherings, or group meetups are permitted on the premises.
Adultery, illicit activity, or inappropriate use of rooms is strictly prohibited.
Smoking or vaping is not permitted inside the property.
Only registered guests are allowed on the premises.
Quiet hours are enforced from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
The management reserves the right to terminate any stay without refund if these rules are breached.

5. Damages, Liability & Loss

Guests are liable for any damage, theft, or excessive cleaning caused during their stay.
A cleaning or repair fee will be charged to the card on file or deducted from the deposit, if applicable.
Lost or unreturned keys will incur a replacement charge of £45.
Lockout assistance due to negligence may incur a £25 call-out fee.

6. Safety and Emergencies

Guests must adhere to all safety instructions and posted signage.
In the event of fire, emergency, or criminal activity, dial 999 and alert management immediately.

7. Use of Facilities

Wi-Fi is complimentary but subject to fair and legal use only. Illegal activity online is strictly prohibited.
Facilities must be used respectfully and kept clean. Misuse may result in loss of access or early termination of stay.

8. Personal Property

Oakshaw Guesthouse accepts no liability for loss, theft, or damage to guest belongings.
Guests are advised to secure personal items and ensure appropriate travel insurance is in place.

9. Housekeeping

Housekeeping is available on request or per agreed schedule.
Guests must allow access for essential cleaning, maintenance, and inspection if required.

10. Pets

Pets are not permitted unless explicitly agreed in writing prior to arrival.

11. Parking

Limited parking may be available on-site or nearby.
Vehicles are parked at the owner's risk. Oakshaw Guesthouse is not responsible for any loss or damage.

12. Extra Guests & Children

Only the named guests on the booking are permitted to stay overnight.
Children are welcome but must be supervised by an adult at all times.

13. Changes by the Company

In the event that the reserved accommodation becomes unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances beyond the company's control, Oakshaw Guesthouse reserves the right to offer alternative accommodation of equal or superior standard without any additional charge.

14. Data Protection

(As per Organic Law 15/1999 of 13th December on the Protection of Personal Data)

In accordance with Organic Law 15/1999 (LOPD), we inform guests that by completing booking forms, your personal information will be securely stored and used solely for the provision and management of our services. You have the right to access, rectify, cancel, or oppose the processing of your data by contacting the data controller.
